Bryno · version 2026-10-28-v7
Terms of Service
Version: 2026-10-28-v7. Effective: October 29, 2026. Replaces version 2026-10-28-v6. Updated November 1, 2026: a card can now hold up to 40 uploaded images (was 20). Nothing else changed.
These Terms are an agreement between you and Bryno ("Bryno", "we", "us") about your use of bryno.io and the services on it. By using Bryno, creating a card or an account, or buying Bryno Pro or a Bryno AI agent, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Bryno.
"Bryno" is a trade name (a "doing business as" name) used by the owner of the Bryno business. When these Terms say "Bryno", "we" or "us", they mean that owner.
Contact: support@bryno.io.
1. Who can use Bryno
You must be at least 18 years old to use Bryno, create a card or an account, or buy anything from Bryno. Bryno doesn't ask for your birthdate. If we learn that a card or account belongs to someone under 18, we disable it and delete it.
If you use Bryno for a business or other organization, you confirm that you're authorized to act for it, and these Terms apply to it as well as to you.
2. What Bryno is
Bryno offers:
- Personal cards. A free digital contact card with your name, title, phone, email, photos and optional sections (for example about, interests, experience, photos, music, movies, books, podcasts, stores, services, portfolio, testimonials, locations, FAQ and payment links). You can share it with a link, a QR code or a downloadable contact file (vCard), and add it to a phone's home screen.
- Business profiles. Bryno reads a business's public website and turns what it finds into a structured business profile. A business profile is published only with Pro.
- The AI agent (optional). An AI agent that answers visitors' questions about a card's or profile's owner (them, their work or their business) from information the owner provided and approved. Any card can add one.
- Follow-up drafts. Help writing a short follow-up message to someone you met, which you review and send yourself.
- The agent network. A separate, invite-only network for AI agents.
Some features may be unavailable at times.
3. Accounts and sign-in
No passwords. You sign in with your email address. Bryno emails you a link and a 6-digit code; either one signs you in. Both expire after 10 minutes and work only once. After five wrong codes the code stops working; the emailed link still works until it expires.
One account per email address. An account can hold any number of cards. Each card's purchases belong to that card only.
Staying signed in. A sign-in lasts 90 days and renews as you use it, but never longer than one year from the day you signed in. You can sign out at any time.
Your responsibilities. Keep access to your email account secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in to your Bryno account. Use an address you control. Tell us at support@bryno.io if you think someone else has used your account. If you manage a business profile with a management key, keep it safe: anyone with it can manage the profile.
Account tools. From your account you can change your email address (we send a security notice to the old address), download a copy of your data, delete a card, and delete your account with all its cards in one step. Deleting a card with Pro ends Pro for that card and isn't a refund; see the Refund Policy. If something in your account is under a legal hold (for example, while a report is investigated), we tell you, record your deletion request (or, for a card that isn't in an account, alert our team), and finish it after the hold is released.
4. Personal cards and sharing
Private until shared. A card and its photos are private until you share it. When you turn on a share link (bryno.io/p/ followed by 24 random characters), anyone with the link can see the card, including the photos it uses. You can turn the link off at any time; once it's off, the old address stops working. Copies others have already saved (for example a downloaded contact file or a screenshot) are outside our control.
Search engines. Share links tell search engines not to index the card unless you choose to allow indexing and Bryno has indexing turned on sitewide. Sitewide indexing is currently off. Paying for Pro or an AI agent never turns indexing on.
Payment links. You can add links to outside payment services (such as Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, Stripe, Square or Ko-fi). Bryno doesn't process, hold or verify those payments, and isn't a party to them. You're responsible for any payment you request and for following those services' rules.
Saved connections. If you save someone's card, only you see it. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept and for how long.
5. Business profiles, website analysis and verification
The free website analysis. Anyone can ask Bryno to analyze a public website. Bryno's crawler (BrynoBot) reads up to ten public pages and follows the site's robots.txt. The result, and any draft you edit, is private to your browser and deleted after 30 days. If you start checkout for a business, Bryno keeps its unpublished profile, and the images you approved for it, until you ask us to delete them. Don't use the analysis to collect information you have no right to use.
Only your own business. Only claim a website you control or are authorized to manage. Verification shows control of the website; it isn't proof of legal ownership or licensing.
Website verification. You can pay and publish before verifying your website. Verify that you control it within 14 days after payment to keep your listing and AI agent connected. Bryno may disconnect a listing that isn't verified in time, or whose website control can't be confirmed or is disputed, at its discretion. Disconnecting switches off the public profile, assistant and widget; your business stays in your dashboard. A listing disconnected only because it wasn't verified reconnects when you verify. Someone who verifies control of the website can take over management of its profile.
Accuracy. You're responsible for what you publish, including your corrections and additions, and for having the right to publish it. Don't publish prices, licenses, service areas or claims that aren't true.
6. Plans: Free, Pro ($19 one time) and the optional AI agent
- Free: You can create a card for free, with no credit card required. A free card carries a Bryno-branded second card. A business card stays a private preview until you buy Pro: a business is published only with Pro.
- Pro ($19 one time): One payment. For a business, Pro publishes your business profile at a Bryno address as an AI-optimized public profile, with structured data and a link to your website, and removes Bryno branding permanently. While Bryno's sitewide search indexing is off, as it is now, Bryno asks search engines and AI crawlers not to read or index its pages, including published profiles; anyone with the address can still open them. It includes owner editing and one free re-analysis of your website. Pro does not include an AI agent. Your listing stays published for as long as Bryno operates, with no annual renewal fees. Publication remains subject to these Terms, continued operation of Bryno, lawful removal requirements, and content and verification policies. This is not a guarantee that Bryno will operate indefinitely. Ending, cancelling or pausing an AI agent does not unpublish an otherwise compliant listing.
- Pro for a card ($19 one time): It removes Bryno branding from that card. The branding removal is permanent for that card, which stays available for as long as Bryno operates, subject to these Terms. Pro belongs to the card it was bought for and ends if that card is deleted.
- No automatic renewal for Pro. Pro never renews and never creates a subscription. Future premium features may require separate purchases and are not included in Pro. Paying for Pro or an AI agent never turns on search indexing of a personal card; that stays a separate choice you make.
- The AI agent (optional subscription; requires Pro): your own AI agent that answers visitors' questions about you, your work or your business, from the information you provided and approved, on your card or profile. A business profile can also put it in a chat widget on its own website. Adding it to a card requires keeping that card with a confirmed email (a Bryno account), so receipts and renewal notices reach you. Pro + AI: $9 per month, plus the $19 one-time Pro upgrade at the start ($28 the first time). Pro + AI Annual: $99 for the first year, including Pro; it then renews at $99 per year for the AI agent only. If you already have Pro, you can add the AI agent for $9 per month or $99 per year with no second Pro charge. The AI agent renews automatically at the same price until you cancel, with its price and terms disclosed before you choose it. Switching from monthly to annual updates the same subscription (Stripe prorates the change) and never charges for Pro again.
- Usage: The AI agent includes up to 100 AI Conversations per month. This allowance is provisional: any change applies only to future billing periods and is posted here before it takes effect. See section 7. When a month's Conversations are used up, your card or profile still shows your contact details.
- Cancelling and failed renewals: You can cancel the AI agent any time, online: from your card's AI agent page, or from your dashboard for a business profile; cancellation stops future renewals and the agent stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. Cancelling the AI agent never removes Pro: your card or listing stays without Bryno branding. If a renewal payment fails, the AI agent pauses until it's paid; Pro stays. Monthly allowances reset each month (on your subscription's billing date while you have one) and don't roll over; changing plans doesn't reset them.
- Purchases made before October 21, 2026: they keep their agreed terms, including any AI agent period and Conversation allowance included with them, unless separately changed with the customer.
- Refunds: see the Refund Policy.
What we send you. After a purchase, Bryno emails an acknowledgment that says what you bought, whether it renews (and at what price and how often), and how to cancel. For the annual AI agent, we email a reminder 30 to 40 days before each renewal. For the monthly AI agent, we email a reminder of its terms once a year. We also email you when a cancellation is confirmed and when a renewal payment fails. These emails come from notifications@bryno.io and are not marketing.
Your consent is recorded. For each purchase we keep the words you agreed to, their version, the plan and the time.
Price changes. We won't change the price of an AI agent subscription you already have without emailing you first, at least 7 and no more than 30 days before the new price takes effect. You can cancel before then and nothing further is charged. A price change never applies to a period you've already paid for.
Who these protections cover. Some state automatic-renewal laws protect only purchases for personal, family or household use. Bryno applies the protections in this section to every buyer.
Payments and taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe; Bryno doesn't see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars. Where sales tax applies, it's shown at checkout and on your receipt.
7. AI Agent Conversations and usage limits
A "Conversation" is a single interactive chat session between a visitor and a card's or business's Bryno AI Agent, beginning when the visitor submits their first message for AI processing.
Each Conversation may include up to 10 visitor messages and 10 corresponding AI Agent responses. Conversations are limited to 30 minutes in total duration and may automatically terminate after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Each visitor message is limited to 2,000 characters. AI Agent responses may be limited in length, and Bryno may apply technical restrictions to message processing, context retention, and knowledge-base retrieval.
A Conversation counts toward that card's or business's monthly allowance when its first substantive message is accepted for processing. Reopening an existing active session does not create a new Conversation.
The AI agent includes up to 100 Conversations per month while it is active (provisional; see section 6). Purchases made before October 21, 2026 keep the allowance agreed at purchase.
Unused Conversations do not roll over. Once the monthly allowance is exhausted, additional AI Agent interactions may be unavailable until the allowance resets.
Bryno may apply reasonable rate limits, automated abuse protections, and technical safeguards to maintain service reliability and prevent excessive or unauthorized usage. These restrictions apply independently of the monthly Conversation allowance.
Bryno does not guarantee any minimum number of visitor interactions, customer inquiries, leads, or conversions.
8. AI features
How the AI agent works. The AI agent answers only from what's on your card or profile, information you provided, and web pages or documents you added and approved. It never learns from visitors' conversations. A card's agent doesn't take contact requests; it points visitors to the contact options on the card. It tells visitors it's an AI. It can be wrong. It can't make commitments, bookings or agreements, or take payments, on your behalf. Visitors' messages are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate replies; Bryno doesn't store the text of chats.
Your source material. You're responsible for making sure the information the agent uses is accurate, current, and yours to use. Review it before you approve it and keep it up to date. Remove anything that's no longer true.
What the agent's knowledge may not include. Don't add to it:
- false or misleading claims about your prices, licenses, credentials, availability, service areas, results or reviews;
- content you don't have the right to use, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- other people's personal information without their permission, or sensitive information such as health, financial or government ID details;
- instructions meant to make the agent ignore its rules, impersonate a person, or produce harmful, hateful, sexual or illegal content;
- medical, legal, financial, tax or other professional advice presented as a substitute for a licensed professional.
No professional advice. The agent gives general information about you or your business. It isn't professional advice, and visitors shouldn't rely on it as such.
No impersonation. The agent may not present itself as a human, as you personally, or as another person or business.
Visitor requests (when available). If Bryno offers a way for visitors to send a business a contact request through its profile or agent, those requests appear in the business's dashboard. If you receive them, handle them lawfully and only to respond to the visitor. This feature is not currently available.
Visitors. If you chat with a card's or business's AI agent, don't share sensitive personal information.
Follow-up drafts. When you ask for a follow-up draft, Bryno sends the names and titles involved, how and when you connected, your note and place, and your card's link to Anthropic to write a draft. Bryno never sends the message for you. Read it, edit it, and send it only if it's accurate.
Bryno's responsibilities. Nothing in this section limits responsibilities Bryno has under applicable law or under these Terms for its own conduct.
9. Your content
You own your content. "Your content" means everything you add to Bryno: text, photos, links, contact details and business information, including what Bryno drafts from your website after you approve it.
The license you give Bryno. You give Bryno a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, transmit and adapt your content (for example to resize or re-encode images, format it for different screens, and make contact files and QR codes) only as needed to run, show and secure the service and to share your card or profile where you choose. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies we must keep under section 12 or the law, and copies others have already saved from a link you shared.
Images. Bryno re-encodes uploaded images and doesn't keep the original file. A card can hold up to 40 uploaded images.
10. Your promises about your content
By adding content, you promise that:
- you own it or have permission to use it on Bryno, including any photos of other people (you have their permission to post them) and any logos, artwork, music or book covers you show;
- it's accurate, and it doesn't mislead anyone about who you are or what you offer;
- it doesn't break the law or these Terms.
11. Acceptable use
Don't use Bryno to:
- impersonate anyone, or create a card or profile for a person or business you don't represent;
- commit fraud, run scams, or request payment for goods or services you won't provide, or through payment links that aren't yours;
- post or promote illegal content, goods or services, or content involving weapons, gambling, debt relief, adult content or other categories our payment processor restricts;
- harass, threaten or bully anyone, or post someone's private information (such as a home address or ID numbers) without their consent;
- post intimate images of anyone without their consent, including images created or altered by AI;
- post any content that sexually exploits children, or any sexual content involving minors. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as the law requires;
- make misleading business claims, including false prices, licenses, reviews, credentials or service areas;
- infringe copyright, trademark or other rights;
- send spam, or use contact details from Bryno for unsolicited marketing;
- scrape, crawl or copy Bryno or its users' content in bulk, or get around access controls or rate limits;
- attack or overload the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or introduce malicious code;
- misuse AI features, including trying to make an AI agent produce harmful content, reveal its instructions, or act outside its role.
12. Reports, removal and enforcement
Reporting. Anyone can report a card or profile, without an account, at bryno.io/report. Every public card and profile, and the site footer, has a Report link. Each report gets a reference (BR- followed by eight characters). Sending a report doesn't restrict anything by itself: a person at Bryno reviews every report.
Intimate images shared without consent. If you are shown in an intimate image on Bryno that was shared without your consent (including an AI-generated image), or you're authorized to act for that person, you can ask us to remove it at /report (choose "Intimate image shared without consent"). A request must include your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough), information that lets us find the image (such as the page address and which image), a brief statement that you believe in good faith the image was published without consent, and an email address where we can contact you. Here is what happens next:
- Confirm your email. We email you a link to confirm your address. It works once and expires after 30 minutes. If it expires or doesn't arrive, you can ask for a new link on the confirmation page. Confirming shows that you control the address; it isn't a decision about your request.
- Protection while we review. Once you confirm, a complete request about a Bryno card restricts that card so it isn't shown while we review it (limits apply to stop misuse of the form). If you gave the address of one image, we restrict only that image and identical copies of it on Bryno, which are also blocked from being uploaded again. Nothing is deleted at this stage.
- Removal within 48 hours. We review every complete request, whether or not you confirm your email. We remove the image as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after we receive a valid request, and make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies, which are also blocked from being uploaded again.
- Your identity stays private. Where we have an email address for the card's owner, we tell them that their card or image is restricted while a removal request is reviewed, but never who sent it.
- We email you when your request is resolved.
Child safety. Report suspected child sexual exploitation at /report. We review every child-safety report urgently, whether or not you give an email address. If you give one, we email you a confirmation link that works the same way (once, for 30 minutes, with a new link available on request); once you confirm, the card (or, if you named one image, that image and its identical copies) is restricted while we review it, and the card is preserved for investigation. We don't tell the card's owner about a child-safety report or who sent it, and we may not be able to tell you the outcome. You can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Other reports. We review reports of impersonation, harassment, threats, private information, fraud, misleading payment requests and other prohibited content, and act on those that break the law or these Terms. We don't tell a card's owner who reported it. Copyright notices and counter-notices are the exception: as section 13 explains, we may share them with the other side.
What we may do. If we believe content or an account breaks these Terms or the law, or to protect people or the service, we may restrict a card (hide it while we review), unpublish or remove content, disable an image and its identical copies, end a share link, disconnect a business profile, restrict or end an account, and preserve information when the law requires or permits it. Where appropriate and lawful, we tell you what we did and why, and how to respond. We may not give notice where doing so could put someone at risk, interfere with an investigation, or break the law.
Mistakes. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@bryno.io with your reference. For copyright removals, use section 13.
13. Copyright (DMCA)
Notices. If you believe content on Bryno infringes your copyright, send a notice through /report (choose "Copyright infringement") or by email, as described under "Where to send notices" below. Under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), a notice must include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the material you say infringes and where it is on Bryno (such as the page address); your contact information; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you're the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notices. If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice through /report (choose "My content was removed by mistake"). It must include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material and where it was before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number (the form has no phone box, so include your phone number in the description); and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you're outside the United States, any judicial district in which Bryno may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent. We send the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us they've filed a court action, we restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.
Misrepresentation. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. 512(f).
Repeat infringers. Bryno ends the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. An account with three upheld copyright notices is reviewed for termination.
Where to send notices. Use /report, or email the Copyright Agent, Bryno, at support@bryno.io with "Copyright notice" in the subject. Bryno has not yet filed a designation of a copyright agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. When it does, the agent's details will be posted here. Every notice and counter-notice we receive is handled as this section describes.
14. Ending your use
You can stop using Bryno at any time: turn off a share link, unpublish a business profile from its dashboard, delete a card, or delete your account.
We may suspend or end your access, or remove your content, if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for Bryno or others, or if we stop offering a feature or the service. If we stop offering the AI agent, or end your AI agent subscription, for reasons other than your breach of these Terms or the law, we refund the unused part of any AI agent period you've paid for, pro-rated by day.
If Bryno stops operating. If we decide to stop operating Bryno, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance, where we reasonably can, so you can download your data. We cancel AI agent subscriptions so nothing further is charged, and refund the unused part of any AI agent period you've paid for, pro-rated by day. Pro is a one-time purchase that lasts for as long as Bryno operates: it isn't refunded when Bryno stops operating, except that a purchase made within the previous 14 days can still be refunded under the Refund Policy.
Sections 9 (as to copies we keep), 12, 13, 15 through 20 and 23 continue after your use ends.
15. What Bryno doesn't promise
Bryno does not guarantee rankings, recommendations, citations, traffic, leads or customers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google or any other company's product. We don't control those products.
16. Other services
Cards may show images from other sites (for example album, book or film artwork), and may link to other services, including payment services. Those services are run by others under their own terms. Bryno isn't responsible for them.
17. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Bryno is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that Bryno will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that AI-generated content will be accurate, or that content other users post is accurate or lawful. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
18. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow a limit.
19. Indemnity
This section applies only if you use Bryno for a business or other organization. You (and that organization) agree to reimburse Bryno for reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from a claim by someone else that is based on content you published through Bryno or on your breach of these Terms, except to the extent Bryno caused the loss. It doesn't apply to personal use of a personal card.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be heard in the state or federal courts located in the Texas county where Bryno's owner is located, and you and Bryno consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please email support@bryno.io so we can try to resolve it.
21. California users
- Provider. The service is provided by Bryno. Email: support@bryno.io.
- Charges. Creating a card is free. Pro costs $19 one time. The optional AI agent costs $9 per month or $99 per year, as section 6 describes, and section 6 also explains how prices can change.
- Complaints. To resolve a complaint about Bryno, email support@bryno.io. California residents may also contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Information Center, in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We post material changes here before they take effect and, for material changes that affect a purchase or subscription you have, email you in advance. If you keep using Bryno after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply. Changes don't apply retroactively, and a price change for an existing subscription follows section 6. Purchases keep the terms agreed when they were made where these Terms say so.
23. General
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and Bryno about the service. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them to whoever takes over the Bryno business (for example if it's sold, or reorganized as a company), and we'll tell you by email if that happens. We send notices to the email address on your account or purchase.
